The DALI MENUET SE is a special edition of our compact MENUET speaker. For the SE, we've applied everything we know to further improve the sound quality and to create a fantastic new finish.

Minimised Distortion

The 4.5" DALI MENUET SE woofer features a fibreglass voice-coil former, which reduces voice-coil mechanical loss and minimises distortion.

Premium Crossover

The crossover has been upgraded with premium grade Mundorf™ capacitors and highly electrically insulating board material.

Unique Appearance

The DALI MENUET SE comes in a striking wild walnut veneer finish that's carefully matched to ensure each pair is truly unique.

High-End Terminals

The sturdy gold-plated terminals are taken from our high-end EPICON series to ensure the best possible connection.

The DALI MENUET SE is designed with discretion in mind. It's small enough to be placed out of the way on a bookshelf or mounted on the wall using the optional wall bracket. The DALI MENUET SE also matches perfectly with our acclaimed RUBICON series as part of an exceptional home cinema system.

Exceptional drivers, designed in-house

With the DALI MENUET SE, the details in the drivers play a major role in recreating an exceptional audio performance. Details such as the 4½" wood fibre woofer, which is airflow optimised to achieve the best possible coupling with the real wood veneer cabinet, or the fibreglass voice-coil former that minimises distortion. The oversized 28 mm soft dome tweeter, with its low-mass dome assembly and powerful motor system, also elevates the performance with speed and precision.

As with the MENUETs, the most surprising point of the MENUET SEs is the remarkable bass they offer for speakers of this size. We are once again really amazed [...] The bass is very deep, firm, and lively. For the rest of the spectrum, their behavior is still very well balanced. These speakers still have a lot of ease in the midrange and details in the treble that combines precision, transparency, and softness.

These DALIs are tiny speakers, and that means bigger alternatives will invariably give more when it comes to low-end muscle, sonic authority, and dynamic reach. But, when it comes to detail, agility, and dynamic expression, particularly in the midrange, these are as good as it gets for the price. If you're tight for listening space, these DALI MENUET SEs could be the speakers you've been waiting for.

DALI MENUET SE is in every way a surprising speaker. Few constructions at the age of 26 can make such a convincing comeback, and even demonstrate new features. The strongest card is and will be the surprise. No one expects such a large and competent sound from such a ridiculously small speaker.
